  • Alright, so you are also interested in having a 10 Second PC. Does sound like having a 10 second car, isn’t it? It also reflects that we all don’t like waiting for your PCs to boot and every millisecond delay feels like a minute and every minute feels like an hour.
I have found this tip on Internet and have yet tried it as I am not willing to experiment with my 20 month old windows XP installation. may be you can try it and post me back the results.

    • Click Start > Run
    • Type Regedit and Press Enter (This will open the Registry Editor)
    • Look for following Key
     HKEY_LOACAL_MECHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ContentIndex

    • Find a Key called “Startup Delay”
    • Double Click On It
      • It is normally a base Value, Change it to Decimal
      • Default Value Is 4800000 (75300:hexadecimal)
      • Change The Value To 40000
    • Close the Registery Editor and Restart Your Computer
    • You are done, Restart your PC.
